Christopher Amellio.
Christopher was one on Roosevelt Island’s first kids to be running around carefree in 1978. His childhood imagination and curiosity grew to fill his story-filled work of paintings and illustrations.
Christopher’s detailed filled self-portrait is a snapshot in time. It not only captures a self-interpretation, but also things that had an impact up to that point in life; his thoughts, feelings, experiences, beliefs and the strong bond with his dog, Buster. Details of this can be seen throughout his art work.
Picasso’s story telling in the painting Guernica had an influence on several paintings and illustrations.
